In 2016, while on a short-term work assignment in Durban, South Africa, I decided to start a food blog as a side project to satisfy a creative itch I was feeling.
Once scratched, that itch turned into a desperate desire to quit my job, sell my things, and start traveling around the world. I gave into that urge and now that ‘food’ I planned on writing about has also become new places, interesting people, new languages, and life-changing experiences.
So follow along for writing about dishes I’m eating, places I’m going, and things I’m learning.
